Kusuriuri "Medicine Seller" from Ayakashi - Japanese Classic Horror

Character Description: What a mysterious, intriguing and yet beautiful character Kusuriuri is. Sadly not much is known about this character. What we do know is that he is a wandering medicine seller, he looks somewhat human expect for the elf like ears, fang teeth and marks on his body. From this anime which has three mini stories, his is last called Bakeneko. In order to exorcise the mononoke or spirits he has to find their form, truth, and regret, after that he is allowed to use his demon sword.
When he does release this sword, how should I put this, another more demon looking Kusuriuri appears. He takes the marks from Kusuriuri cloths and body upon himself and uses the sword to exorcise the spirit. He carries with him a large wooden box filled with medicine and scales that he uses to tell where the spirit is. Also he uses talismans' to hold the spirit back from entering a room or such. These talismans' light up and a eye on them opens when one is near.
It was only a few shows but I fell in love with this character. He didn't seem to look down on the guilty party but in the end they got theirs. He always seems relaxed and easy going, even in his line of work.
